Activities inFounders Growth Club
Startups are often building something new, which means the challenges they face are always different but rooted in sameness. That’s why our activities come in many shapes, depending on what’s deemed most useful. Sometimes it’s a one-on-one with a founder who’s been through it before. Other times it’s a group session to hear how others are approaching things like funding, AI or hiring. And when it’s needed, we take time to go deep on a specific theme. The point is to give you clear input quickly, with no fluff. Each session is shaped by people who’ve done it, who are doing it now, or who are just one step ahead.

A focused push on a real challenge, guided by someone who’s been through it before.
The Growth Sprint is a 3-month program where you get matched with a Growth Advisor (a founder or operator with relevant experience) to tackle a strategic challenge you’re facing right now. It’s designed to create momentum, structure, and accountability - without adding fluff to your calendar.
Here’s how it works
You share your current focus or challenge. Growth Advisors browse the list, and if someone feels they can help, they’ll reach out for a quick intro call. If it feels like a good fit on both sides, you continue the conversation with 1:1 check-ins over a 3-month period. We recommend at least 4 sessions, but you can do up to 6.
While the Sprint is centered around a specific challenge, such as go-to-market, hiring, or expansion, you can use the time however it’s most useful. Your advisor is there to share their experience, pressure-test your thinking, and help you move forward.
Timeline for the Growth Sprint
1st of August - Deadline for joining: You have completed the onboarding form and shared a link for Growth Advisors to schedule a meeting with you.
6th of August - The Sprint Growth Advisors receive an overview of all attending founders in this Growth Sprint and their respective focus areas. They have 3 days to review and book intro calls for the week after.
11th - 15th ofAugust - Intro calls between Growth Advisors and Founders take place (20–30 min).
18th - 22nd of August - Matches are made based on mutual fit. FGC supports the process and ensures everyone is aligned.
From 25th of August - You can set up your first one-on-one. From there, it can be spread over the next three months—we recommend a minimum of four sessions, with a maximum of six.

Members are given the option to participate in the following:

What if we don’t meet all the criteria yet?
We look at potential too. If you're close to the thresholds and scaling fast – don't hesitate to apply. We want the right mindset, not just the numbers.
What industries do you work with?
We focus on tech and innovation-driven companies, but any scalable business with international ambitions is welcome.
What makes this different from other programmes?
It’s built by founders, for founders. No lectures, just shortcuts. You’ll work with people who’ve scaled companies like yours – not consultants.

- 10+ employees
- DKK 10M+ in annual revenue
- DKK 10M+ in raised capital

How are mentors matched with scaleups?
We curate matches based on sector, stage, and challenge. No generic pairings - it has to create real value.
Who qualifies as a Growth Advisor?

Is there a cost to join?
No. Membership is free for selected scaleups and advisors. The project is publicly funded.
What is Founders Growth Club?
FGC is a founder-to-founder network designed to help Danish scaleups grow internationally. Backed by Denmark’s Board of Business Development, we provide actionable advice, strategic connections, and tailored support from those who’ve done it before.
Who’s behind FGC?
FGC is led by Canute by Thursday and Erhvervshus Hovedstaden, in partnership with FBV and top advisors and organisations like Crayon, Danske Bank Growth, EY, Microsoft Denmark & DI.
Why only scaleups?
Because this group is under-served. Most programmes focus on startups or traditional SMEs. We’re filling that gap.
